Art & Music

Our Vision

To invest in the holistic growth of upcoming and established artists and musicians by creating platforms where they network, develop and display their skills.

The Inspire Art & Music Project is associated with more than 50 upcoming and established artists across India. Our artists, musicians and technical teams have traveled to rural and urban parts of the country to perform in concerts, conduct workshops, record audio and video productions etc.

In 2020, under the Art & Music Project, we established a Practice Pad and Recording Studio called The Groove Studios. The vision of the Groove studios is to show love, respect and excellence to every artist that enters our space in all our conversations and services provided.

FRIDAY JAMS

Every alternate Friday the groove studio is opened for various musicians and artists to come together and experience / be a part of live jam and open mic sessions. We even select the best performances and have the tracks mixed, mastered, uploaded and shared on our social media platforms. This has become a great initiative to encourage upcoming artists.

RECORDING SESSIONS

Inspire provides state of the art recording facilities for established as well as young artists passionate about creating music, to come and record their music.

Aradhana, a student of Ashoka University recorded hervocals at the Groove for her college music project with help from our studio team.

Nathan, an aspiring musician & a college student from Chandigarh recorded an original written and composed by him at The Groove.

THE GROOVE STUDIO APPRENTICESHIPS

At Inspire we envision to walk alongside the next gen as they explore their passions & hone their skills. The Groove Studio Apprenticeships provides just the opportunity for young creative artists to explore on the job training in live sound mixing and studio recordings. We have had some great experiences with interns and they have enjoyed their time of learning with us as well.

OTHER MUSIC PROJECTS

Concerts

Inspire constantly looks at opportunities to bring together musicians in a band and travel within or outside Delhi to perform and conduct workshops. We have held live sessions from the studio as well as travelled to places like Siliguri, Kolkata and Makunda. We have also had the opportunities to play at concerts in Delhi like at the Dzouku Tribal Kitchen restaurant, Depot 48, the Love Delhi concert, the Asha Bhawan Christmas concert held for the drug and alcohol rehab residents. These have been great opportunities of exposure for our musicians.

Production and editing projects

Through the Covid 19 lockdown Inspire undertook various virtual collab productions with artists from across the country. These productions not only gave us the opportunity to showcase talent but through these productions we were also able to raise financial support for musicians, producers and engineers especially since many of them were struggling with no income during the lockdown.

Once the lockdown had ceased and things slowly returned to normal, in December 2021, Inspire had the opportunity to produce 3 songs for a Nepali music composer. The team carried out the whole audio and video production in Kalimpong where there were artists and musicians from cities across India like Delhi, Hyderabad and Chennai. Once again this not only created a platform for the musicians and vocalists but an opportunity to generate income sources for them and Inspire’s charitable work specially during the pandemic.
